Vocabulary Relating To Greetings
The following are basic Spanish greetings. As in English speakers, can use a variety of phrases to convey basically the same meaning.

| Buenas tardes | Good afternoon | |
| Buenas noches | Good evening |
Note: Notice the difference between Good morning, afternoon, and evening. The Spanish use buenos dias, and buenas tardes/noches because of the difference in gender between dias and tardes/noches
